Born May 15, 1898, Colonia Juarez, Mexico, a son of Eli Archer and Mary Neagle Clayson. Married Mabel Rawlins, Oct. 3, 1917, Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Was a leather worker and owned leather shop for many years in Spanish Fork. Was a High Priest in Richards Ward.

Morro Bay, Calif.; Darrell G. and Douglas R., both Salt Lake City brothers and sisters: William and John Clayson, Alameda, Calif.; Manuel Clayson, Salt Lake City; DeMar Clayson, Germany; Mrs. Leonard (Rosalie) Mickelson, Richland, Wash.; Mrs. Jack (Adelaide) Bradford, Spanish Fork.
Funeral Thursday noon at the Richards Ward chapel, 855 Garfield Ave. (1831 South). Friends may call Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. at 2350 E. 13th South. and prior to services on Thursday at the ward chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
